My Name is
Biruk
Biruk
Biruk’s mother was very young when she gave birth to him. She worked as a housekeeper and abandoned Biruk, giving him to her employers. The family was unable to care for him and asked the Rafiki Foundation for help. Biruk arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2010. He soon embraced his new life and family. Now, Biruk is a loving and obedient young man who strives to be humble, gentle, and patient. He loves to see the sunrise each morning because its beauty reminds him of God. Biruk enjoys singing and socializing with others and loves to read God’s Word. He prays that his faith will continue to grow, that he will seek the Lord’s will, and that God will bring peace to the country of Ethiopia.
