David's mother died in 2003 while giving birth, and his father's whereabouts remain unknown. David arrived at the Rafiki Village Malawi in June of 2006. David is described by his teachers as being attentive in class, and he especially excels in language arts. David is a good leader and quiet role model. He believes that Jesus is his personal Lord and Savior. David loves Jesus and has made a commitment to please and serve Him to the end.
