My Name is
Emmanuel
Emmanuel
When Emmanuel was a young child, he was carried on his mother’s back as she wandered the city of Accra. Many times he and his mother slept on the street. His mother suffered from mental challenges and could not properly care for him. Emmanuel was referred to Rafiki by social welfare services, and he arrived at the Rafiki Village Ghana in September 2009. He soon benefited from the nutritious food, quality care, and loving environment at the Village. Emmanuel's favorite hymn is "All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name" because it reminds him that Christ is powerful and loves him.
