Esther
Esther and her three sisters lost their mother due to high blood pressure and their father to alcoholism. After their parents died in 2010, they were placed in the care of their widowed grandmother. She had no source of income and finding food for the family was a daily challenge. Though she tried, she could not provide for the girls and sought help. Esther and her sisters arrived at the Rafiki Village Zambia in 2011. Esther enjoys playing sports with her friends and reading. She says she believes Jesus is the Son of God, who is love. She knows the Bible is God's word, and she prays for joy in all things.
