Fred and his two brothers Champ and George were placed in the care of an elderly woman because their mother, who had physical disabilities, could not provide for them. It is believed that each boy has a different father. In 2011, medical complications made it no longer possible for the elderly woman to care for the boys. The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare asked the Rafiki Foundation to raise the boys, and they arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia in 2011. Fred now enjoys his Bible class because his teacher makes the Bible interesting. He loves Jesus and considers Him his King because He loved him and died for his sins. Fred especially likes 1 Peter 5:7 because it reminds him when he worries to cast all his burdens on Jesus and to trust Him in prayer.
