My Name is
Harriet
Harriet
Harriet's father passed away from AIDs, and her mother was also diagnosed HIV+ and was no longer able to care for her. Without a relative to raise her, her family contacted social services. They asked Rafiki Foundation to intervene on Harriet's behalf. She arrived at the Rafiki Village Uganda in 2008. She now enjoys living and learning with her Rafiki family. She has learned from studying Romans in the Rafiki Bible Study to love others sincerely, not to be ashamed of the gospel, and to stay firm in faith even when things are difficult. Harriet continues to pray for a strong faith and for a hard-working spirit in school.
