My Name is
John
John
John’s parents were killed in a tragic bus accident. His mother was pregnant with his little sister, Chipo, at the time of the accident, and she lived just long enough to deliver the baby girl. The mother’s single sister cared for the children after the accident. She was unemployed and thankful that John and Chipo would have a permanent home at the Rafiki Village Zambia; they arrived in September 2014. John continues to grow into a respectful, loving, and virtuous young man. He believes the Bible is the Word of God. When he prays, John asks God to give him wisdom and to help him love others. The story of Joshua is one of John's favorite Bible stories because it teaches him to be courageous.
