My Name is
Mehiret
Mehiret
Before coming to Rafiki, Mehiret lived with her maternal grandmother. Her mother abandoned her at a very young age, and her father remains unknown. She arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2010 and began to thrive in the new environment. She enjoys playing soccer with her friends and reading God's Word. Her favorite hymn is "Wonderful Words of Life" because it reminds her that the Bible is the book of life and her favorite Bible verses are 2 Peter 3:8–10 because they remind her that Jesus will come again.
