My Name is
Mercy
Mercy
Mercy was referred to the Rafiki Foundation by a local ministry. Her mother gave her to her great grandmother, who was unable to care for her, and Mercy's father abandoned the family soon after she was born. Mercy was approved by Social Welfare and arrived at the Rafiki Village Uganda in 2008. Mercy's favorite subjects are math and science, and she knows they are key for her future career choice: she would like to become an engineer! From studying God's Word through the Rafiki Bible Study, Mercy understands that she is alive to Christ and dead to sin. She continues to pray to love others well and grow strong in the faith.
