My Name is
Moses
Moses
The death of Moses's father left six orphans. Four of the children are older and worked in the fields on a family farm. An uncle took over the care of Moses and his half sister, Patience. Moses's uncle struggled to support his family as well as his niece and nephew. The children were referred to the Rafiki Foundation and arrived at the Rafiki Village Liberia in 2010. Moses soon proved to have a pleasant and winsome personality. He really enjoys his science class because he likes to learn about different inventors. When he grows up, he hopes to be the director of an organization that gives charity to others. He believes that it is important for him to do his best in school because it will equip him for the future. Moses's favorite hymn, "Jesus Is All the World to Me," reminds Moses that Jesus is closer than a brother.
