Susanna
Susanna’s mother died within a month of giving birth to her. Her father abandoned her and was then reported to have died. Susanna's elderly, impoverished grandparents struggled to care for Susanna in a very poor village, and they sought help. Susanna arrived at the Rafiki Village Nigeria in 2005. Susanna would like to study journalism at a university. She says education is important because it helps us develop mentally and morally. Susanna says God has made Himself known to her personally through both His Word and the beauty of creation. She continues to pray for humility and to show God's love to others. Susanna says she has been inspired by Rafiki's founder, Rosemary Jensen, and her love and care for others.

Joshua and his twin brother, Samuel, arrived at Rafiki Village Liberia in July 2013.
Gideon
Gideon is genuinely kind and sweet-spirited. He is generous to those he meets and especially enjoys sharing God's Word.
Olivia
Olivia and her twin sister, Gloria, were placed in the care of their uncle after their father died.
David
At eight months old, David was abandoned in a suburb of Kampala, Uganda.
Grace
Grace arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2011.
Negassa
Negassa's mother died in 2008, and his father abandoned him soon after her death.
Rena
Rena’s mother died from malaria complications three months after giving birth to Rena and her twin sister, Serena.
Malesse
Malesse and his twin sister, Zelalem, were orphaned when they were only a year old.

Joseph’s mother died when he was nine months old, and his father is unknown.
Enoch
Enoch’s mother died within two months of his birth, and his father remains unknown.
Comfort
Comfort is a very sweet and respectful young woman. She thanks God for his mercy and faithfulness in her life.
George
George was abandoned as a baby and taken to a local orphanage.
Emmanuel
Emmanuel is thankful to God for caring for him his entire life. He knows that God is always faithful, and he prays with confidence.
Tabitha
Tabitha was abandoned as a child, and none of her family members were able to care for her.
Mediatrice
Mediatrice arrived at the Rafiki Village Rwanda in 2009.
