Violet's mother died in childbirth, and her father died just a year later. Violet and her two siblings were living with their 52-year-old grandmother who survived by subsistence farming. The family was extremely impoverished and Violet’s needs were unable to be met. She came to Rafiki Village Malawi in 2007 and soon benefited from the quality care. Violet is known for her sweet personality. She says she knows Jesus through the Bible. She trusts Him because He gave up His life for her. Violet has made a commitment to obey her Rafiki mother who inspires her to live a life pleasing to God.
