Yesunesh
Yesunesh was born in Mojo, Ethiopia. Her father died when she was only a few months old, and her mother soon abandoned her after his death. Her paternal uncle cared for her before she came to Rafiki. Though he tried, he could not provide for her basic needs and sought help. Yesunesh arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia in 2010. Since then, she has bonded well with her Rafiki Mother and siblings and enjoyed learning new things in school. Yesunesh enjoys reading. She is especially eager to learn more about God's Word. Yesunesh's favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 1:7 because it teaches her that true knowledge is not knowing something but fearing God.
