My Name is
Zerubabel
Zerubabel
After Zerubabel's father died and his mother abandoned him, he was placed in the care of a widow. Caring for her own children, Zerubabel, and his brother, Leul, proved to be too much for her. Though she tried, she could not provide for their basic needs and asked Rafiki for help. Zerubabel and his brother arrived at the Rafiki Village Ethiopia on September 3rd, 2012. He was malnourished and underweight. He soon benefited from the quality care, nutritious food, and family environment at Rafiki. Zerubabel now likes reading the Bible, and he enjoys the stories and truths from the Scriptures. Zerubabel prays each day for a growing understanding of God and for wisdom in school. His favorite hymn is "Wonderful Words of Life" because he knows God's words are wonderful.
